We can develop bespoke web based applications to your exact specifications. Our applications are developed using the php scripting language and MySql database. All projects undertaken are developed with security and scalability in mind and below we outline our development process. Alternatively if you require any assistance with a php/MySql application you may currently please also feel free to contact us.
Every new project idea begins with the customers project requirements where sometimes what is required is fully known otherwise it can be very vague. Either way at this early stage ideas are brainstormed, pictures are sketched and functionality is defined. The creative process is fun until a complete picture of all the project requirements are refined and agreed by both parties.
After there is clarity on the project requirements this is then turned into a formal specification which will include all the details agreed upon at the requirements stage. From the specification we are then able to determine a project timescale, hosting requirements and all costings presented in a formal quote.
Upon our quote being accepted we will begin the the app development process. As each section of the app is built and tested it is not uncommon for customers to request new features that they had not previously thought of. We are usually happy to do this after assessing how it will impact other areas of the app and may incur additional charges.
After the main project development phase has been completed a beta version of the app is then released to see how it performs in the real world. If any part of the app fails then any bugs are then fixed and that area of code retested. After being released again and no part of the app fails it is then ready to release properly.

Cheshire Scientific, a microbiological contract testing laboratory based in Bromborough Wirral, required a web based application that would allow them to upload customers' test certificates so that they could then be accessed online and viewed by the client. The customer would also be able to create their own folders and subfolders in which to store their certificates by category.Click here to continue reading the full case study
